Ocean Waves

Simple for the Family at any distance
Cremated ashes are released into the Atlantic Ocean
far from shore, using a satellite-tracked buoy.
Family can monitor the trajectory from their phone or computer.
HOW IT WORKS
1. The Family selects a local crematory and initiates the R2C service.
2. The crematory places the ashes into an R2C-provided Ash Canister and
ships it to our facility.
3. The Ash Canister is secured to one of our expendable buoys (Drifters) and
deployed into the northward flowing Gulf Stream current offshore Florida.
4. Family members and Clergy may optionally participate in the deployment.
5. The Drifter is tracked via GPS satellites as it drifts with the Atlantic currents.
6. Daily Drifter location updates are published to a private, password-protected
page on our R2C Website.
7. Family members can view the Drifter's journey with 24/7 access.
8. A private Remembrance Blog is available on-line for Family and Friends to
post written tributes to their Loved One.
SUPPORTING OCEAN SCIENCE
Drifter trajectory data may be shared, anonymously, with oceanographers studying marine currents and the movement of plastic debris in the ocean.
