Return to Sea provides a password-protected Website for Family access, 24/7, while their Loved One's drifter is journeying on the high seas.
The Website provides:

A color map of the North Atlantic with hourly drifter positions starting on the day of deployment.

An overlay of the Gulf Stream's position, color coded with red indicating the highest speed of the Stream's surface current.
Additionally, a private Remembrance Blog is also available on the website for family and friends to view and post warm comments and tributes for their Loved One. Grandchildren with computer literacy love this type of interaction with their Elders - for weeks or months, rather than just on a typical Memorial Service day.
